The Kommand ov the Goat
2005 and the following years will see a continuing series of issues of the highly acclaimed extreme and occult music magazine Moondance. The Magazine fell to sleep after the 5th issue in 2000, which has already been named a classic and one of the best underground magazines ever. It was a double issue consisting of two magazines in a noble leather cardboard jacket, comprising one hundred and sixty four pages, and contained mostly lengthy (up to 18 pages) features with
ULVER, SATYRICON, BLOOD AXIS, CHANGES, ALLERSEELEN, KAMPFAR,
ARCKANUM, IN THE WOODS, HAGALAZ RUNEDANCE, WALDTEUFEL.
Moreover a Blood Axis Tour Report and four in-depth articles on occult and spiritual matters (among them the editor`s essay "The Life and Work of JULIUS EVOLA", all surrounded by a highly aesthetic and esoteric flair and atmosphere not yet known in an actual music magazine!
In the 4 issues released before, from 1995 to 1998, there have been interviews with a.o.:

MALIGN, BEHEMOTH, GRAND BELIAL`s KEY, SADISTIC INTENT, IMMOLATION, UNGOD, WINTERBLUT, DESASTER, ABIGOR, NAGELFAR, EMPYRIUM, DARK TRANQUILLITY, BAL-SAGOTH, GEHENNA, GORGOROTH, PRIMORDIAL, and many more.
With double Issue 5, Moondance had considerably moved forward on to a serious culture and art magazine, selling 2500 copies worldwide (!) without the help of any major and commercial media, who mostly ignored Moondance due to its radical and uncompromising attitude - and without denying its roots in the metal underground. Especially the review section with more than 700 (!) reviews, portraying the development of the entire scene back then, showed the editor`s passion for the raw old extreme metal the way it was meant to be!
The Kult ov Kenosis and the Rites ov Nigredo
The future issues of MOONDANCE MAGAZINE will be a true fist in the face of all the wannabe fanzines, webzines and "major mags" popped up in the last years. Whilst continuing the highly aesthetic and in-depth philosophical, occult and radical direction, every single issue being unique in its overall style and concept, Moondance will, without limiting and restricting itself, see an atmospherical return to the immortal days when the editor started to Hail the Kult, forever to be connected with names such as
BLASPHEMY, SARCOFAGO, SODOM, KREATOR, BATHORY, BEHERIT, SAMAEL, TREBLINKA, NIHILIST, ORDER FROM CHAOS, GROTESQUE, MAYHEM and all the other Kults of that time.
With the upcoming issues, Moondance will again have a strong staff of Contributors yet to be revealed! It will again be a unique mixture of interviews, reviews, articles and sinister proclamations, cryptic phraseology, ghosts behind every corner, and - unlike the Solar Issue 5 - Total Goat Worship !
